Meet our team!
Human Resources / Administration
I was born in Salina, Kansas, and grew up all over the state. I graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Construction Science & Management. I have grown up around acoustical ceilings my whole life because my Dad has been in the acoustical ceiling business since before I was born. I worked in sunny San Diego for about five years before moving to colorful Denver to start Heartland Acoustics in 1998. I’ve been married to my amazing wife, Christi, for over twenty years and have two awesome high school-aged kids – Courtney and Jett! I mostly love hanging out at home with my family but also find time to tinker in my garage on cars and projects, ride my dirt bike (and anything else with a motor on it) and go camping.
General Manager, California
I was born and raised in Canyon Lake, San Diego in the Inland Empire. After graduating from high school I went to Concordia University in Irvine on a basketball scholarship. I graduated in 2008 with a degree in Business Administration and that same summer signed a contract to play professional basketball in Germany where I made my residence for the next four years while playing. In 2012, I decided to return home to San Diego to begin my career. I was hired as a Management Trainee for a roofing material distributor in Vista, CA and after a few short months was named Branch Manager. After three years in distribution I came across the General Manager opportunity for the San Diego branch of Heartland Acoustics & Interiors. After meeting Jason Gordon and the team it was a no brainer for me to join the company. I am extremely excited to be a part of and to continue the great success that Heartland has had in the San Diego market.
Project Manager, Texas
I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and attended UNLV after high school. I received a bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis on print media. Upon graduation I worked on the public relations side for a hotel/casino company in Downtown Vegas and then for a public relations agency before getting into construction as an Estimator for a drywall subcontractor. Economic issues forced the company out of business and I was fortunate enough to land a job in Austin, TX in 2009 with a medium sized drywall company where I really learned the business and found a home in the great state of Texas. My wife and I have been married since 2007 and she has three sons and we just had our first grandbaby. In my free time I am an avid softball player and golfer. I also enjoy the outdoors and try to go camping, fishing or shooting as often as time allows. As an Eagle Scout, I work with the young men at our church and am a big proponent of the scouting program.
Preconstruction Manager, Denver
I was born in Ft. Stewart, Georgia, and moved around a lot as my father was in the Army. I graduated High School in Virginia and immediately joined the Army myself. After four years as an Army Mechanic, I decided to go to college. I graduated from The University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Engineering Management in 2008. I love anything outdoors, especially camping and fishing in the summer and skiing/snowboarding in the winter.
Senior Estimator, Denver
I was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida, where I started working in the acoustical ceiling industry in 1985. My wife, Linda, and I moved to Denver in 1992. After she graduated from nursing school we settled in Arvada. I have been working in all aspects of the ceiling business in the Denver area ever since. My wife and I have a daughter who attends the University of Wyoming and twin sons that are in high school. I spend a lot of my time watching the kids in Westernaires who play in the marching band and I enjoy cheering for my son who plays ice hockey. If I get a free weekend you can find me fishing the Gold Medal waters of Denver.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, I grew up in Arvada, Denver and consider myself to be as close to a native of as anyone not born here can possibly be. I love sports, especially baseball, which I played in high school. I hope that sometime within my lifetime the Rockies might actually make the playoffs and have a winning season again! I am relatively new to the construction industry but before coming to Heartland I worked for a local general contractor for two years doing mainly commercial framing, drywall, and finishing while finishing my bachelor’s degree in economics. I am excited to learn and grow within the industry and specifically project estimating and believe that nobody ever stops learning, no matter what they do or where they come from. Outside of work I love to draw and create art, have recently become interested in archery, and have also been playing electric guitar for over twenty years, mostly just for fun. I also really enjoy history and am practically a walking encyclopedia of historical events.
Assistant Project Manager, Denver
I was born and raised in Denver. I love everything it has to offer. Mainly the outdoor lifestyle which includes fishing and exploring our beautiful mountains. When the temperature drops, that’s when the real fun begins. Snowboarding and hockey consume my life in the winter. I live and breathe hockey. Playing as often as I can. Other hobbies I have consist of watching the Broncos every Sunday with all of my friends and also enjoying the vast music scene Denver has to offer. I have been with heartland since 2010, starting in the field. I am new to the office life and look forward to learning the ins and outs of our company and the industry.
Project Manager, Denver
I was born and raised in Denver until age 16 of high school when my family decided to move to Missouri to start a small sustainable farm. After high school, I got into the drywall trade. I have been involved in every aspect of drywall such as residential and commercial drywall installation, finishing, framing, and ACT. This field of work allowed me to perform duties in estimating, supervising a crew, and project management. My wife and I have been happily married for almost 10 years and we have 4 awesome kids. When not chasing kids, I enjoy distance running and have completed multiple marathons and ultra-distance challenges. I’m thrilled to be back in the Mile High area and can’t wait to explore all that the area has to offer.
Field Superintendent, California
I was born and raised in Michigan and at eighteen years old I joined the U.S. Navy for a two year term. During that time I was able to travel to a number of different countries. I attended Orange Coast College for accounting and Irvine Valley College for business management, I’m a certified Holistic Practitioner and enjoy being aware of body and mind health. My hardworking father shared his accounting knowledge with me since I was a teenager and my beautiful mother taught me how fun remodeling and building are. So thanks to my parents I developed a passion for accounting and construction. I have five poodles, who are super cute. I’m also the proud aunt to my handsome nephew, Kelem Sielh (young boy from the sky). Now I have my own little baby boy with my husband of two years. He also works for Heartland.

My past positions as Office Manager, Legal Assistant and Executive Assistant defines the support person I am today. He went from working in the field to starting his own acoustical company in Garden Grove, CA. This cultivated my interest in construction. After a few years of acoustical estimating, I received an opportunity to lead the Acoustical Division at a local specialty drywall company. I was born and raised in Colorado. My passion for motorcycles started at the young age of 4 years old. I started riding dirt bikes, and as I got older I moved on to Harleys. Since then I’ve added to my collection and now own five bikes. As much as I love my Harleys, my pride and joy is my 12 year old daughter, Ava. She is my best friend and greatest gift.
