Marty Romero
Operations Manager

I am a Denver, Colorado native. Ihave been in the drywall and acoustical distribution for the past 24 years in Denver. I have two children, my son Danny who is sixteen and an avid roller hockey player, and daughter Dori who is thirteen and crazy about horses. She rides with The Westernaires, a mounted precision drill organization. I love coaching and playing Roller Hockey. You can find me at the rink five days out of the week. Add the horse stables and work and sometimes I feel like I forgot to sleep!

I grew up on a farm in Algona, Iowa. After college I married my high school sweetheart Brett. November 21st we will be married for 21 years. Brett and I have three girls, Jessica, 18 years old and a senior in high school, Elizabeth, 15 years old and in ninth grade and Anna, 9 years old and in third grade. My hobbies are watching all of the basketball and volleyball games the girls are playing. I enjoy camping and boating in the summer and playing cards and games with the family. I also like scrapbooking, spending time with my parents, brother and three sisers and their families. I like doing projects around the house and yard with Brett, this year we are remodeling our kitchen.

I am from a small rural town called Hoxie, KS.  I was raised on a farm and graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Construction Science and Management.  I moved to Colorado after graduation and enjoy everything Colorado has to offer.  I like fishing, hunting, biking, hiking, snowboarding, rafting, caving, rock-climbing, golfing, camping, traveling, hanging out with friends, and anything outdoors that time will allow.  I love meeting new people and anything that can be competitive.

I was born and raised in Michigan and at 18 years old I joined the U.S. Navy for a two year term.  During that time I was able to travel to a number of different countries as well as served a tour in Desert Storm.  The last year in the Navy I was stationed in San Diego,California and during my time in San Diego I met my wife Norma. We have three children: Aaron 14, Mallory 11 and Jacob 8 years old.  I spend a lot of time at my children's hockey games, basketball games and camping with my family during the summertime.  I began working in the acoustical ceiling trade 14 years ago.  I have been with Heartland Acoustics since 1998 and in 2003 became the southern Colorado region Superintendent.

Northern Colorado

I was born in Minnesota, lived in Iowa for about 10 years and spent my teen years in northern Wisconsin. I moved to Colorado in 1982 and have been happy here ever since. I have been married 16 years and have three children ages 23, 19 and 13. I have been in the construction business for 27 years. I love almost anything outdoors especially hunting and fishing.

I was born in Tucson, Arizona but grew up in beautiful San Diego County nearly my entire life. I started riding horses and visiting the Del Mar Racetrack with my stepdad as a child and have since grown to love horses and the sport of thoroughbred horseracing. I am an aspiring bloodstock agent and breeder and I currently own two horses - a 2-year old thoroughbred gelding and a 5-year old thoroughbred broodmare. I love the intricacies involved in breeding top racehorses thus my drive to breed and own one myself. I am a part-time student
